Installation

The document contains instructions for installing the vimm-dl binary.

1. Download the latest binary for your platform and architecture.

All precompiled binaries for Linux, Mac and Windows are available at the Releases page.

2. (Optional) Verify GPG signature

The precompiled binaries can be verified against this public key.

3. Install the binary

Place the binary inside one of the directories listed in PATH. On Linux, this is usually /usr/local/bin or ~/.local/bin.

4. Test the installation

You can easily test the installation by checking the version:

vimm-dl --version

An output showing the version number indicates that vimm-dl is properly installed:

vimm-dl 0.1.0
